### Key features

* Holds multiple product slots
* Easily change the appearance of the shelf
* Keeps track of the child product slot(s)
* Works with the product crate to move the products between them using procedural animation ( Code-driven animation ).

***

### What it's used for

The product shelf is a blueprint actor that primarily contains multiple shelf slot(s) which can hold products and a static mesh to give the appearance of a shelf.

This actor makes it easier to make fully functional shelves for the game and is used to track all the product slots found in the shelf.

We are able to easily change the shelf mesh and add as many product slots as needed with custom placement and size.

This actor also contains an interaction plane which is used for the customers(AI) to walk up to the shelf before grabbing the product they want.

***

### How it's used

The main interaction here will between the product crate and the product slots. where you will be able to add products and display them in the shelf.

Player(s) will be able to add products to the product slots as long as they are carrying a product crate with a product that has the same product type as the product slot(s).
